Another Year Gone By The Hills

Sunday was our birthday.

February 25th

No I don't talk about myself in the third person lol

DH and I share the same birthdate.

He is a bit older than I am though. ;)

We went to Saskatoon for a very nice meal at a resturant

Was nice to see him.
Don't get to that often.

Today Feb 27th

I finished knitting a sweater and hat.

I took of a picture of the set.
Isn't the model just a cutie?? lol

Its a sweater and hat for a teddy bear but I think it looks adorable on Moira's monkey !

Newest Sheep

My friend , Cindy, stopped in to visit on her way to

Regina on Thursday the 15Th.

As as surprise she brought me the cutest little sheep :)

Her sister is the wonderful artist that created an adorable knitting sheep for me.
I collect TY beanie baby sheep and other like animals.
This is adorable sheep is my first * sculpted* one.


My Internet is shaky at best since Friday,
so I haven't been able to post much.

I just had to share picture of the newest sheep!

A Finished Object

I like to do all sorts of hobbies - knitting, crocheting, making jewelry .

I just finished a pair of earring for me!!!

These are goldstone and moonstone gem beads on sterling silver with sterling accent beads.
I have an idea for a matching necklace that I may make too!

Moira's class is having a party tomorrow

so I made cookies for her to take to school.

Hopefully the kids will like them!

I used dollar store yarn ( ~ Charmin~ brand)

and knit up these black and red socks.

Aren't they fun looking???

Its Cold Out - Will Winter Never End?

The icy grip of winter seems unending!
Our tractor will not start. Even plugged in and covered, no go!
No tractor, no way to move bales to feed critters.

So Mel put panels out around the bales closest to the barn yard.
The sheep and llamas are enjoying the feast!

Keeping Warm

It has been nasty cold here the last little while.

Tipper must have been a bit chilly. She crawled into the laundry basket of towels

Took out a towel and wrapped up in it.
It's a cat's roll !

NEW JOB!

I have a new job :)
I am the permanent assisant library clerk at our town's library.
I am really enjoying it!

Books books and more books!
So far its an awesome job!
