Obi Won Is Here!!

Obi Won is here!
My friend Jo and her husband Mark delivered him yesterday.
We had an awesome visit!

The llama girls came in from the field to see who the new arrival was.
There was some sniffing, a small bit of spitting and some tail wagging lol!

Here's the promised pic of the small little lamb
She's doing extremely well and is able to get herself into all sorts of mischief!!

It was a beautiful day here today by the hills.
Dh and I are celebrating our 22nd anniversary today.
We plan to go out on the town tomorrow evening.
Will be nice to spend time with dh.

That's it from by the hills!

Yard Chores

So there is this hedge between the two front lawns.
I had asked for help trimming it back in June.
However , with being so busy this summer, it didnt get done.
Last weekend Mel decided that it was time to trim that hedge!
He started his hedge trimmer and went to it!
Didnt take long at all!
Below is a picture of it being trimmed.

Just finshing the last bit of trimming.
Whatcha think of his self propelled 18ft hedge trimmer??

New Chicks!`

One of our bantam hens sat patiently waiting for her eggs to hatch.
Of the nine she set on , 7 hatched.

Shes very protective of them. They arent all from her own eggs.
I gave her a variety from the henhouse lol.
So 4 black striped and 3 yellow striped ones.
Most of our hens are rare breeds.
